Wickham Flower Medium Employer of the Year
South Australian based Agricultural and Machinery Dealer, Wickham Flower are proud to have been announced the 2018 SA Training Awards Medium Employer of the Year. One of four finalists, Wickham Flower was presented with the award at The Department for Industry and Skills event at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Friday evening, 7th of September. The awards recognise employers, students and training providers who are excelling in training and training delivery.
Wickham Flower Dealer Principal Mr Vaughn Colwill said “Everyone in the company is extremely excited and proud to be recognised as the leading employer in the state for businesses between 20 to 200 employees. We put a large focus on continuous training, whether it be our technicians, parts interpreters, administration or sales staff.”
“In recent years we have also invested in upgrading our training facilities and technology which now allows us to offer more local training and live interactive training with presenters that may be on the other side of the world.”
“Wickham Flower prides itself on providing high quality service to our customers and our success relies on our staff being multi skilled. Technology is changing, both in the Agriculture and Motor Vehicle industry, so our staff are constantly acquiring new skills and adapting their knowledge. This year Wickham Flower invested in a dedicated internal training position to help share knowledge between departments and ensure consistent customer service.”
